Renewal Notice
 We are excited to have the opportunity to discuss renewal options with every resident! If you have any questions, please feel free to call or stop by the Welcome Center to discuss your options with one of our knowledgeable Leasing Consultants. Contact the Welcome Center now and we can prepare your renewal lease. For more details, please contact the Welcome Center. NOTE: Extended Office Hours on February 15th Open until 6:30!
 
Snow/Ice Removal
 In case of inclement weather, please park your cars at least three feet away from the edge of the sidewalk so that the Service Team will be able to remove any accumulating snow/ice. Do you need a shovel to get your car out of the parking spot? Contact the Welcome Center we have snow shovels available for your use. Shovels are available free of charge to all residents, and can be checked out for up to two hours at a time.
 
Extermination Changes
Beginning Janurary 2012, insect extermination services will be handled by Superior Exterminating. Superior is committed to providing exceptional customer care with modern pest management methodology and respect for the environment. They use an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system to thoroughly inspect the structure, correctly identify the insect and use the least toxic product to control the pest. Their general pest management program is designed around exterior perimeter pesticide applications only; therefore, we will no longer be conducting routine interior exterminations.
 
Effective January 2012, extermination services will be conducted on Mondays and Thursdays each week. Please contact the Resident Service Line at 540-951-1223 to report any specific insect problems so that any necessary extermination treatment can be scheduled.

Carpet Cleaning
Complimentary carpet cleaning will be offered until the end of March. To qualify you must have lived in your apartment home for six months and have at least three months remaining on your lease. Please call the Welcome Center at 951-1221 to schedule your carpet cleaning. Space is limited so reserve your spot TODAY! Any appointments not kept by the resident or cancelled within 72 hours of the appointment will be charged a $25 rescheduling fee.
 
Goodwill Donation Box
 Do you have items you no longer want that are in good condition? A Goodwill Donation Box is available for small item donation. Look for the Donation Box near the Car Wash & Fitness Center Area between Richmond Lane and Hunters Mill Rd.

Down in the Valley
  • Saturday, February 4th - Floyd Radio Show: Views from Buffalo Mountain. In the style of the Opry shows of old, the Floyd Radio Show brings a jam-packed hour of original radio dramas and comedy skits - performed by a team of local actors. Tickets are $5.00.   • Friday, February 10th - CORBiAN/Light Wire Theater presents The Ugly Duckling & The Tor- toise and The Hare. The electroluminescent wire puppets and props are three dimensional and brought to life by 3 performers who are dressed in full black.7:00pm at The Lyric $10-Children, $12-Silver, $15-Gold.
  • Friday through Sunday, February 10th - 12th - Cupid’s Weekend at Chateau Morrisette, join them for chocolate and wine tastings for $7 including a glass.
  • Saturday, February 11th - Wine, Chocolate & Torch Songs at Chateau Morrisette 3:30-5pm. $30 per person includes wine, chocolate, entertainment and gratuity.
  • Tuesday, February 14th - Puppy Love Dinner at the Chateau Morrisette 5-8pm, $75 per cou- ple includes a romantic date night with soft music, wine, and a three course meal. Reservations are required.
  • Monday, February 27th - Crime Prevention Education Class - Identity Theft Prevention at the Blacksburg Police Department. 6-8pm Free, just email Shaylin McNeil to register at smcneil@blacksburg.gov.
  • Every Friday night join the Southwest Virginia Social Dance Society (SVSDS) for free dance lessons from 7:30-8:30pm. Dancing follows - first dance session free, $5 for members $7 for nonmembers. Held at the YMCA Event Room, visit blacksburgdance.org for more information.

No Soliciting Allowed
As a reminder, no soliciting or handbill distribution is permitted in the community. "No Soliciting" signs have been posted and will be strictly enforced. We want to protect your right to privacy. Please contact the Welcome Center if you encounter this problem. If you believe that you have been approached for a scam or other questionable activity, please contact Blacksburg Police Department at (540)961-1150.
 
Clubhouse Rentals
The clubhouses are available for residents of Foxridge and Hethwood to reserve for social gatherings. Consider one of our Clubhouses for your special event. Contact the Welcome Center for information and availability.
 
Maintenance Services
 We will deliver touch-up paint to your apartment at a cost of $10. Replacement of incandescent light bulbs will be available at a cost of $5/bulb. Fluorescent lights will still be replaced free of charge.
 
Maintenance Reminders
 Foxridge and Hethwood Communities offers 24-hour emergency maintenance for our residents. If you have an emergency to report, call (540) 951-1223. Please give complete telephone number, address and description of the problem. The following are considered emergencies: gas leak, no heat or air cnditioning (in summer months), no hot water, water leaks, inoperable stove or refrigerator, inoperable door lock, overflowing toilet, inoperable smoke or carbon monoxide detector, sprinkler alarm system, or any situation that may cause injury or damage. Please contact emergency maintenance if you notice any community lighting (such as street lamps, pole lamps, landing or laundry room lights) is flickering or out. When calling in a heat or A/C issue, our maintenance staff must have access to the closet containing the heating and A/C unit. Also, please make sure you are turning the unit completely off, as this will allow maintenance to better determine the problem upon arrival.
 
Nightly Suite Rentals
 Friends or family coming to visit? Why stay at a hotel when they could stay right here in Foxridge? Contact the Welcome Center for information on our two and three-bedroom Nightly Suites. Available for nightly, weekly, or weekend stays, our Nightly Suites are equipped with all the comforts of home. Special event weekends are in high demand, so call early for availability.
 
Resident Portal
The Resident Portal allows you to make payments and submit maintenance requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! You will also be able to view the monthly newsletter and receive reminders about community events. Sign up here for the Resident Portal. Parking Policies
Parking at Foxridge and Hethwood Apartment Homes is on a first-come, first-served basis, and is not individually assigned. Please see the Notices page for detailed parking policy information.
 
Pet Waste Removal
Please "walk" pets away from the buildings. Pet owners are responsible for clean up of all pet wastes; failure to do so will necessitate a charge. The fine will be deducted from the pet deposit and the pet owner will have twenty-one (21) days to replenish the deposit or remove the pet from the premises. Any damage to the shrubbery or landscape areas will be the sole responsibility of the pet owner. Dogs must be leashed or carried at all times when they are outdoors.
*This is in accordance with the Blacksburg Town Code, Section 4-32, Ordinance No. 805, §1,4-26-88.
 
Pet Policy Information
 All pets must be registered with the Welcome Center before bringing the pet into the apartment. This includes a pet that may or may not require a deposit. Any pet brought into the apartment, including visiting pets, will be subject to our current pet policies regardless of the lease start date. The pet fine for illegal pets is $200.00 and does not apply to pet deposits or pet fees. Foxridge and Hethwood's restricted breeds are as follows: Rottweilers, Chows, German Shepherds, Pit bulls and Dobermans*
*This includes mixes of these breeds*

 1. Must be 12 month lease.

 Earn rewards for paying your rent on time by bringing your rent payment to the Welcome Center on or before the first of the month.
